ENERGY STAR PORTFOLIO MANAGER
I would like to meet with you to discuss how Construction Services Management (CSM) can benchmark your company’s utility usage and compare this information to similar properties in the region using the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager program. This program developed by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) will compare your buildings energy usage to similarly constructed buildings in the region and provide an energy usage score of 0-100, 50 being average and those 50 and below having the most energy efficiency improvement opportunities. Using this information, CSM can help you asses your energy performance and recommend low or no cost upgrades, cost-effective investments, and longer–term strategies that make the most sense for your organization. Working with CSM, customers can pursue energy efficiency while not compromising sound management of finances and or customer / employee comfort.
Look to CSM to help your organization:
CSM would require information concerning your facility such as, Natural gas, Propane, Fuel Oil, Electrical and Water usage for at least the last (11) months including costs and rate charges along with building Gross Floor Area, Year built, Occupancy, Hours of Operation and percentage of heated and cooled gross area's. A site visit would also be necessary for each property to assist in identifying any additional building energy upgrade opportunities or equipment operational abnormalities. The resulting energy usage Statement of Energy Performance (SEP) would then be compared to other similar use facilities in the region. This information can then be used to plan, schedule and implement energy upgrades that would provide the greatest return on investment. CSM and the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager tool would certainly be an asset to your organization by dramatically reducing your energy dollar expenditures, therefore improving your company's bottom line.
